One of the "white buses" of the Swedish Red Cross which transported about 27.000 inmates
of nazi concentration camps to Sweden in March-May 1945.

Remembrance Sunday Service at St. Andrews Anglican Church followed by a wreath-laying ceremony at the Commonwealth War Graves at Kviberg Cemetery.

Röstånga - 17/18 June 2009
Remembrance and wreath-laying ceremony at the Knutshög memorial (inaugurated in 1959) in memory of the crew, of which two died in this spot, of an American Liberator B-24 bomber plane which crashed here on 20 June, 1944.
Inscription on the stone: "De kommo over haven, kämpade för friheten, fallo i främmande land". ("They came over the sea, they fought for freedom, they fell in a foreign country").
