Throughout Great Britain - 8 May
VE Day (Victory in Europe Day). The ceremony was attended by veterans who contributed to the war effort in so many ways, and were able to pay their respects with several veterans laying wreaths themselves. For many it was a chance to relive the Victory of World War 2 in Europe.
