Cette tombe est tout à fait exceptionnelle. Il s'agit de la tombe
du Captaine N.G. Chavasse du Royal Army Medical Corps.
VC signifie Victoria Cross, la décoration britannique la plus prestigieuse,
BAR signifie qu'il a reçu deux fois la Victoria Cross. MC signifie
Military Cross, soit la croix militaire.
A noter les petites croix en bois piquées d'un coquelicot rouge,
marque de passage des Britanniques qui viennent se recueillir sur cette
